MYRA
A warm, attentive person listening with care in soft natural light

The Guide standards

The bar every Guide meets before they meet you.

Every Guide on MYRA agrees to a clear Code of Ethics before they ever appear in your search. This is what that promise means for you, in plain words.

Who Guides are

Steady company for the human stuff

A MYRA Guide is someone trained to offer non-clinical emotional support: a calm, attentive presence who helps you reflect and feel a little less alone. They work within the scope of their training and experience, and they hold space without ever claiming authority over your life.

Guides are independent professionals, verified by MYRA. They are here for the everyday weight of being human: stress, change, relationships, the feelings that are hard to name. Because MYRA is non-clinical, a Guide will never diagnose a condition, prescribe anything, or treat you. When something needs a clinical professional, a good Guide names that honestly and helps you find the right door.

How a Guide treats you

What every conversation should feel like

Met with respect

Guides hold you with patience and unconditional positive regard, meeting your choices, beliefs, and who you are with acceptance, whatever you bring to the conversation.

Heard, then reflected back

A Guide listens closely and asks thoughtful questions that help you think your own thoughts through. The insight, and the decisions, stay yours.

Given full presence

Guides arrive on time, stay fully attentive for the whole conversation, and close it warmly. Present with you, start to finish.

Spoken to honestly

A Guide is honest about what support can and can't do, and makes no promises to fix or cure. When they reach the edge of what they can help with, they say so kindly and point you onward.

Clear boundaries, always

Lines that protect the conversation

Good boundaries are what make it safe to open up. These are firm, they're written into every Guide's agreement, and they don't bend.

01

Never anything romantic or sexual. This line is absolute, and crossing it ends a Guide's place on MYRA immediately.

02

No contact off the platform. Guides won't ask for your number or hand out theirs, and won't pull you into off-platform sessions, courses, or sales.

03

No gifts or favours. A Guide is paid by MYRA, never by you, in any form, for any reason.

04

No fostering dependence. Guides protect your independence and encourage you to keep other sources of support in your life, rather than making themselves the only one.

Your privacy

What you say stays between you

Everything you share in a conversation is confidential. A Guide keeps your identity, the fact that you spoke at all, and anything you said strictly between the two of you.

Guides don't discuss you outside MYRA or keep private notes about you off-platform. When session recording is active, MYRA discloses this to you within the call room; any recordings are held securely and used only to keep the space safe and accountable. The only times anything you share leaves that confidential circle are where the law requires it, or where it's genuinely needed to keep you safe.

Safety first

When a moment turns serious

MYRA is a non-clinical, supportive space, not an emergency service. Guides are trained to recognise when something needs more than a conversation, and to act on it without delay.

What a Guide does

If a Guide senses you may be at risk, they stay calm and present with you, share trusted safety resources, and follow MYRA's safety protocol straight away. Ignoring that protocol after a disclosure of self-harm is one of the gravest breaches a Guide can make, and it ends their place on MYRA immediately.

How we hold Guides accountable

The standard is only as good as how we keep it

A promise means nothing without follow-through. Here's how MYRA keeps every Guide to the bar they agreed to.

We verify before they appear

Every Guide's credentials and stated experience are checked, and they must keep them accurate. Misrepresenting qualifications removes a Guide from the platform.

We listen and review

We review feedback, run quality and supervision processes, and act on patterns of concern: from a quiet word, to extra training, to a monitoring period.

We act fast on serious breaches

Some breaches (anything romantic or sexual, ignoring a safety escalation, soliciting contact) mean immediate suspension or removal, no warning required.

You can raise a concern, any time

Anyone can bring a concern to our Grievance Officer, Neha Bass, at support@myrawellness.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours and respond substantively within 15 business days.

From being to becoming

Held to a standard you can feel

When you talk to a Guide on MYRA, this is the bar they've already agreed to meet. Find someone who feels right. Or, if you live by these standards too, come help us hold them.
